Ordering food at a restaurant or cafe

Waiter: Hello. Are you ready to order?

Woman: Hi. Do you have any specials today?

Waiter: Yes we have a pasta special running for the week and a steak special for today only.

Woman: Can you tell me what is included in the pasta set?

Waiter: Yes you have a choice of three pasta dishes. Seafood spaghetti, chicken spaghetti or curry. Your choice, plus dessert.

All specials, including today's steak special come with either vegetables or salad, non alcoholic drink of your choice plus desert.

Woman: I'd like to have the 300 gram steak set please.

Waiter: fine, and would you like vegetables or a salad with that?

Woman: I'd like the vegetables thanks

Waiter: And how would you like your steak?

Woman: Medium rare thanks

Waiter: Would you like your drink now or after your meal?

Woman: I'd like it now please.

Waiter: fine, and what would you like to drink?

Woman: orange juice thanks.

Waiter: and for dessert would you like apple pie and ice cream, pavlova and whipped cream or lamingtons with chocolate topping?

Woman: I'll have the apple pie thanks.

Waiter: thank you, it won't be long

Woman: thanks
